Spouse Visa Application Services

As a general rule, foreign nationals who marry a Japanese national, permanent resident, or other eligible person and wish to live together in Japan must obtain the appropriate status of residence, such as “Spouse or Child of a Japanese National” or “Spouse or Child of a Permanent Resident” (commonly referred to as a Spouse Visa).

Spouse Visa categories include “Spouse or Child of a Japanese National” and “Spouse or Child of a Permanent Resident.”

Our office primarily provides support for applications to obtain, renew, or change to the status of residence of “Spouse or Child of a Japanese National.”

Depending on your circumstances, we will recommend the most appropriate procedure, including an Application for Certificate of Eligibility to bring your spouse to Japan from overseas, an Application for Change of Status of Residence within Japan, or an Application for Extension of Period of Stay.

In the unlikely event that your Spouse Visa application is denied, we will prepare and submit a new application at no additional professional fee.

If we determine that there is no reasonable prospect of approval even after reapplication, we will refund the full amount of the professional fees paid, excluding any actual expenses, in accordance with our refund policy.

Full Support Plan

This plan allows our office to handle as much of the process as possible, from collecting the required documents to submitting the application.

* Except in cases involving special circumstances, our office will not charge any professional fees other than those quoted at the time of engagement. You can use our services with confidence.
* The professional fees shown above do not include actual expenses such as transportation, communication costs, fees for obtaining official documents, or translation fees.
* Payment must be made by bank transfer.

Standard Plan

Our most popular plan. You prepare the required documents, and our office handles the preparation of the application forms, submission to the Immigration Services Agency, and all necessary follow-up after filing.

Light Plan

This plan is designed for clients who wish to keep application costs low. We will provide a list of the required documents and review the complete application package prepared by the client. You will be responsible for submitting the application to the Immigration Services Agency yourself.

  Please contact us by telephone or through our contact form to schedule a free consultation.

• Free Consultation

  Your free consultation will be held at our office or online via Zoom. During the consultation, we will ask about your circumstances and explain the matters requiring confirmation, any potential concerns, the scope of our services, and the applicable fees.

• Application for Our Services

  Your engagement will become official once you have signed our application form and paid the initial fee, equal to 50% of the professional fee. The Light Plan requires full payment in advance.

• Guidance on Required Documents

  Based on the information you provide, we will prepare a list of the documents you need to obtain.

• Collection of Required Documents

  Once you have collected the listed documents, please send them to our office.

• Preparation of Application Documents

  We will prepare the application documents based on the information and supporting documents you provide.

• Review of the Complete Application Package

  We will review the complete application package for missing documents, incomplete information, errors, and other issues.

• Signature and Seal

  After confirming the contents, you will be asked to sign the application documents.

• Submission of the Application

  We will submit the application in person to the relevant Regional Immigration Services Bureau or file it online. Once the application has been submitted, you will be required to pay the remaining 50% of the professional fee, government fees, and any other actual expenses.

• Receipt of the Application Result

  The Regional Immigration Services Bureau will issue notification of the application result. In the unlikely event that the application is denied, we will either submit a new application at no additional professional fee or refund the professional fees paid, excluding actual expenses, in accordance with our refund policy.

• Collection of the Residence Card (Full Support Plan Only)

  We will visit the relevant Regional Immigration Services Bureau to collect your Residence Card.
